The short version
This page explains what blockspins.co.uk collects from people reading our coverage of Blockspins, not what the operator itself collects once someone registers on its own platform. We're an independent information portal – we don't run the casino, we don't hold player accounts, and we have no visibility into anyone's Blockspins balance, deposits or bets. What follows covers only our own site.
If you've clicked through to Blockspins and created an account there, its own privacy notice governs that relationship, not this one. Anything you submit directly to us – through our contact form or by email – is covered here.
Data you hand over vs data we observe
Some information reaches us because you give it to us: your name and email address if you write to [email protected], and whatever you choose to include in that message. We don't ask for payment details, identity documents or account credentials, and you should never send us any.
Other data is collected automatically as you browse – technical information such as your browser type, approximate location, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site, typically via cookies and analytics scripts. Our separate cookie policy sets out exactly which categories run and how to control them. None of this automatic data is matched to your identity unless you've also contacted us directly.
Processors and transfers
We use third-party services to run analytics and hosting, and in some cases advertising measurement. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms; we do not sell visitor data to anyone, and we don't share it with the Blockspins operator or any other gambling brand we cover.
Where a processor is based outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are applied before any transfer. Good to know: using a UK-based browser and standard privacy settings limits most of this to routine, non-identifying analytics traffic.
Exercising your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold on you, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict how we use it, receive a portable copy, or object to particular processing. You can also withdraw consent for anything based on consent – cookies included – at any time without affecting anything already done.
To use any of these, email [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's supervisory authority for data protection.
Retention
We keep contact-form and email correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your query and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case of follow-up. Automatically collected analytics data is retained on a rolling basis and is not kept indefinitely.
Under-18s
This site, and the gambling-related content it discusses, is intended for adults aged 18+ only. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and this portal is not designed to appeal to minors. If you believe a child has contacted us or otherwise provided personal data, email [email protected] and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this notice as our tools or obligations change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date, so it's worth checking back occasionally rather than assuming nothing has moved.
This page is for information and marketing purposes only. We are not a casino operator, a bookmaker or an organiser of gambling. Access to this content is restricted to persons aged 18 and over (18+). We encourage you to gamble responsibly – for free, confidential support visit BeGambleAware.org.
